Privacy Policy

Hirevia is a career product that helps people discover jobs and prepare applications in the United States and Canada. This Privacy Policy describes the kinds of information the product stores. It is a product draft pending professional legal review and is not legal advice.

What we store

When you create an account we store your email, password hash, language preference, and (when you agree) records of Terms, Privacy, AI, beta, and age attestations — versions and timestamps, not device fingerprints. If you upload a resume we store the file and extracted text. Career DNA stores professional facts you confirm or that extraction proposed for your review. We also store job-search preferences, saved answers in Never-Guess, application drafts, and product feedback you submit.

Why we store it

Account data is used to sign you in and operate the product. Resume and Career DNA data are used to match jobs, explain matches, and prepare application materials. We do not sell candidate profiles. AI providers may process resume or job text when those features run; see the AI disclosure.

Export and deletion

Signed-in users can download a JSON export of their account from Settings, and can delete the account with password confirmation. Deletion removes resumes, Career DNA, applications, and answers associated with the account. Some limited security records (for example, that an email was used) may need to exist temporarily; no approved retention schedule exists yet and will be set with founder and legal review.
